What to expect with your install
Our highly skilled cream insulation installation crew is poised to ensure a seamless and efficient installation process for your Michigan home. With most of our experienced foremen having a minimum of 5 years of service, our crews work together harmoniously, akin to well-oiled machines. To ensure a hassle-free installation day, there are some essential steps you can take in preparation before our arrival.

Ensure Accessibility: The primary consideration is to ensure that our team has unobstructed access to the areas earmarked for insulation. While we do provide plastic coverings for protection, having your own supplies is advantageous. More specifically, here are some key factors to consider based on the area of your home we are insulating.
- Wall Insulation: If we are performing a retrofit job, such as injecting cream insulation into your exterior walls, there may be some vibrations due to the drilling process. It is advisable to remove any items that might fall off the walls during this phase, especially if you have brick walls. Additionally, please point out any cold air return vents or recessed cabinets to your foreman. Ensuring that bushes and trees around the perimeter of your home won't obstruct our work is greatly appreciated.
- Attic Insulation: For unvented attic spray insulation, any items stored in the attic should be moved away from the attic ceiling. Collecting them in the center and covering them will suffice to protect them from any unintended contact with the insulation material. If we are insulating the attic floor, it should be kept bare. If we are adding blown in insulation, make sure the attic access is free and clear for our installers to get in and out efficiently.
- Basement Insulation: When insulating basement walls or rim joists, we will need access to your basement. Clearing everything approximately 3-4 feet away from the walls will provide the necessary space for our work.
On Installation Day: On the day of the installation, your foreman will conduct a project review with you to ensure everyone is aligned with the project's specifics. After completing the installation, a visual walkthrough will be conducted before finalizing payment.
We're Eager to Assist: Our crew is enthusiastic about enhancing the comfort and energy efficiency of your home. If any items are too heavy or require extra assistance, our team is more than willing to help; just let us know in advance so we can be prepared.
